Garden maintenance at the Dunedin Women's Refuge.
Dunedin North Rotary Club have had a long and rewarding history with Te Whare Pounamu (Dunedin Women’s Refuge) maintaining their garden and five years ago with lots of assistance from other Rotary Clubs, private donations and assistance from the Refuge built  an “imagination playground” that has  its own river of blue woodchips, rocks to jump across the river, tree rings and  a tunnel.

Every few months a team of Rotarians get together to weed and prune to keep the playground looking like a fun place to play and an inviting spot for adults to enjoy a coffee in the seating area.

Since Dunedin North and Dunedin East Rotary Clubs merged into Dunedin Harbour Rotary Club, we are able to continue serving our community.
